You can count on the RAPHC to participate in a variety of activities in and around Fredericksburg throughout the year. We're proud to say that we raise an average of $35,000 per year for our favorite charities.
- At every meeting we hold a 50-50 raffle to benefit our friends at the Association of Retarded Citizens.
- Every February we host our annual Mardi Gras ball to raise funds for two local animal rescue groups: CARE and PAL. See our Mardi Gras page for details.
- Every May, we enter two or three teams in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. This year in May, we'll also be hosting a water station for the Marine Corps marathon.
- In December, you can't help but notice our float in the Jaycee's Christmas Parade and our tree in the Festival of Trees.
- At least four times per year, you'll see us picking up trash along a stretch of Fall Hill Avenue parallel to the Rappahannock River near Route 1 in Fredericksburg - that's our Adopted Roadway and we work hard to keep it looking good.
- We also host a Red Cross Blood Drive at Cheeseburger in Paradise every three or four months.
We also help out in other ways around town as needs arise.
